Farm Girl and Hockney at the Tate
So today I thought I'd share something a little different on the blog. On the weekend, we headed off for brunch at a now very well known brunch spot in Notting hill, followed by going to the David Hockney exhibition at the Tate Britain. I got some really good photos and loved it so thought I'd share it with you today!
First up, brunch at Farm Girl Cafe, although the wait was slightly ridiculous, it was totally worth it. If you do head there I suggest getting there as early as possible! We made the most it and ordered as much as we could eat. We went for avocado toast, oven baked eggs, house granola and berry pancakes. All of it was so delicious, well made and well presented. The staff there were also really attentive and friendly. Overall it was a really good brunch, probably one of the best I've had, the only downside would be the wait but if it's a sunny day and you're in good company then it doesn't really matter.
After that we needed to walk off all we'd eaten so headed down to the Tate Britain for the David Hockney exhibition. If you're in London before the 29th May and you're a fan of art then I really suggest you add this to your agenda! Although crowded, I loved the exhibition, it was so inspiring and I learnt much more about Hockney and the different mediums he's used over the years. Below are some of my favourite pieces.
All in all it was a really good day and I hope you love these images as much as I do!
